Loan Processor

The Loan Processor is a critical role at Magnolia State Bank, responsible for managing the entire loan process from application to disbursement. This includes generating loan documentation, processing payments and advances, and ensuring compliance with all applicable state and federal banking regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough account research to update customer banking relationships.
- Process consumer, commercial, and real estate loan payments and advances.
- Review loan approvals to ensure accuracy and completeness, and follow up on missing data.
- Board completed loans on the Bank's mainframe computer system and loan documentation software.
- Maintain credit and other files for documentation and compliance, including vehicle title work and UCC filings.
- Work closely with loan officers and customers to ensure proper insurance is received and maintained.
- Analyze and process incoming draws, and review documentation for proper approvals.
- Monitor collateral addenda's and other tickler systems to ensure proper receipt of UCC, Deeds of Trust, and Title Policy filings.
- Balance daily and monthly loan reports.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist in resolving problems within given authority.
- Perform various loan reports and callbacks.
- May be required to perform official notary services.
- Operate computer terminals or personal computers to process loan activity and resolve problems.
- Prepare routine letters, reports, and forms.
- Maintain files, copies, and faxes documents, and order and distribute supplies.
