Our Merit System

The Antioch Unified School District operates as a Merit System District. This means that final selection of our classified staff members will be made from candidates who have been placed on an eligibility list. Eligibility is determined through an evaluation and competitive screening/scoring of a candidate's training and experience as demonstrated on the application and responses provided in the supplemental questions.
