Assistant Chief Flight Instructor Opportunity

Total Flight Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Chief Flight Instructor to join our team at Triangle North Executive airport (LHZ). As a key member of our flight training team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional training and mentoring to students and instructors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality flight instruction and training to students in the Airplane 141 program.
  • Oversee and conduct stage checks, end-of-course checks, and quarterly reviews for Flight Instructors.
  • Communicate with prospective students and guide them through the onboarding process.
  • Conduct ground and flight instruction on single-engine land aircraft, including simulator training.
  • Ensure a safe and effective training environment for all flight operations.
  • Evaluate student performance and maintain accurate training records in accordance with Part 141 requirements.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries.
Requirements:
  • FAA Certified Flight Instructor and Instrument Instructor with a clean safety record.
  • Meet Assistant Chief Instructor requirements for Private, Instrument, and Commercial courses.
  • Located within a reasonable commuting distance from the LHZ airport.
