Lewis & Ellis Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Actuarial Associate to join our team. As a key member of our actuarial consulting team, you will be responsible for analyzing statistical data and conducting actuarial analysis related to insurance pricing, reserving, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze complex data sets to inform business decisions
- Develop and implement actuarial models to predict insurance outcomes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks
- Communicate complex actuarial concepts to stakeholders through clear and concise reports and presentations
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in actuarial science
Requirements:
- At least 8 years of actuarial experience with an ACAS or FCAS designation
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and predictive modeling
- Experience with programming languages such as R, Python, or SAS
- Strong mathematical skills and ability to work independently and in a team
- Excellent communication skills for conveying complex data to various audiences
