Penn State Health is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their Float Pool team in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

About the Role

This opportunity offers a unique chance to work with a wide range of patient populations, from pediatrics to geriatric patients, in various primary care and specialty offices.

As a Float LPN, you will be part of a dynamic team that provides exceptional care to our patients and contributes to the academic and research mission of Penn State College of Medicine.

Responsibilities

  • Room patients for exams and procedures
  • Conduct Point-of-Care Testing
  • Perform phlebotomy and injections
  • Administer medications
  • Complete asynchronous administrative work

Requirements

  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in Pennsylvania
  • 1-2 years of experience as an LPN in a healthcare setting
  • Ability to work variable shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
