About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center. As a key member of our imaging services team, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care and imaging services in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Render direct patient care and imaging services, utilizing various pieces of equipment throughout the hospital.
  • Manage all aspects of the Radio pharmacy, including dose preparation, administration, and disposal.
  • Utilize hospital computer systems, including NMIS, PACS, and RIS, as part of normal day-to-day activities.
  • Maintain and document all records as required by NRC and DEP.
  • Operate gamma cameras with confidence and competence.
  • Assist physicians in performing procedures and computer enhancement of images.
  • Consult with patients to obtain a complete clinical history.
  • Monitor and record all radioactive materials received in the department for leakage or damage.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited Nuclear Medicine program.
  • NJDEP license.
  • ARRT or NMTCB registry.
  • BLS certification.
  • Preferred: 5+ years of clinical experience in a hospital setting as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, experience with PET/CT.
