Salary: $2000 or more per week

We're seeking an experienced Class A CDL holder to join our team as a solo truck driver. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a reputable company like Ryder System, known for its commitment to safety, customer satisfaction, and employee well-being.

About the Role:

This position involves driving a tractor-trailer combination across various routes, ensuring timely delivery of goods and providing excellent customer service. As a solo truck driver, you'll be responsible for managing your time effectively, adhering to traffic laws and regulations, and maintaining accurate records of your trips.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver cargo safely and efficiently
  • Maintain accurate records and logs
  • Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer

Requirements:

  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Pass a Ryder Drug Test
  • Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
  • Pass a DOT physical
  • Pass a Ryder road test
  • Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
  • Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle
