Procurement Specialist

Volt Workforce Solution is seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team in Flemington, NJ. As a key member of our supply chain management team, you will be responsible for procuring raw materials and managing vendor relationships.

This is a first shift position that requires strong analytical skills to process data effectively. You will communicate daily with production, engineering, quality, management, and logistics teams on supply chain-related topics, including backorders, OTIF, customer orders, and inventory.

• Manage purchase orders and reconcile Purchase Orders and Invoices to reduce/eliminate mismatched exceptions.
• Support supplier management program: involved in market research, supplier interviews, and collection of supplier performance information and raw material risk analysis.
• Gather and analyze data to update and maintain various systems, including IMES SAP, PeopleSoft, and the Global Project System (GPS). Run reports as needed for plant supply chain team.

To be successful in this role, you will have a Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited university, or HS Diploma/equivalent with 6 years experience. A minimum of 2-3 years relevant working experience in procurement is required. You must have a working knowledge of theories and practices, typically applied to one discipline, and knowledge of computer programs and corporate systems.
