Laborist Physician

Axia Women's Health is seeking a skilled Laborist Physician to join their team at McConnell & Associates OB/GYN. As a Laborist, you will provide comprehensive care to pregnant women, deliver babies, and manage gynecological emergencies.

• Provide obstetric and gynecological care to patients during shifts
• Conduct prenatal assessments, including routine check-ups and screenings, to monitor the health of pregnant women and their babies
• Attend deliveries and assist in the management of labor and childbirth, including performing cesarean sections and other surgical interventions as needed
• Evaluate and manage obstetric emergencies such as preterm labor, preeclampsia, and fetal distress
• Assess and treat gynecological conditions, including menstrual disorders, pelvic pain, and reproductive tract infections
• Perform surgical procedures related to obstetrics and gynecology, such as hysterectomies, tubal ligations, and diagnostic laparoscopies
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for patients

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Completion of residency training in obstetrics and gynecology
• Board certification or eligibility in obstetrics and gynecology
• Active Pennsylvania Medical license and DEA
• Demonstrated clinical competence in obstetric and gynecological care, including surgical skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members
