We are currently looking for a dedicated Entertainment Booking Specialist to enhance our team. This hybrid role is based in Fort Lauderdale, FL, and involves a blend of remote and in-office work.
As the Entertainment Booking Specialist, you will play a crucial role in curating and managing a portfolio of Guest Entertainer engagements that align with our operational requirements, brand image, and budgetary constraints. Your focus will be on continuously elevating the entertainment experience for our guests across the fleet.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure top-tier Guest Entertainers through strategic partnerships with agencies and artists.
- Oversee a designated set of bookings, adhering to timelines established by the Entertainment Manager.
- Explore new collaboration opportunities and talent acquisition strategies.
- Regularly assess entertainer feedback and implement necessary adjustments to maintain high-quality entertainment standards.
- Update and manage internal databases for artist and booking information.
- Facilitate communication with agencies and artists, including managing last-minute changes.
- Conduct regular meetings with the Guest Entertainer team to discuss progress and innovative talent sourcing ideas.
- Engage in frequent discussions with external agency partners.
- Collaborate with the Entertainment Manager to review updates related to budget, scheduling, and quality assurance.
- Bachelor's degree in Entertainment Management or equivalent professional experience.
- A minimum of 5 years in entertainment management roles.
- Strong awareness of current trends in the entertainment industry.
- Exceptional organizational and administrative capabilities.
- Proficient time-management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Established relationships with key industry stakeholders.
- Experience in shipboard or cruise environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and AirTable.
- Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States.
This position requires candidates to be within a reasonable commuting distance to the office, as in-person attendance is expected three days a week.
