Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Services Manager to join our team at Building Water Sampling Services, LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling on-site sampling and field services, ensuring efficient and effective performance by the field services team, and performing field services activities.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least two years of relevant experience, including at least one year in a management role. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to work well alone and with others.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule staffing to meet clients' requirements
  • Direct the day-to-day activities of the field staff while also performing same
  • Ensure field staff have the necessary training to complete their assigned duties efficiently and effectively
  • Contribute to writing, editing, and ensuring compliance with field-services SOPs
  • Communicate with clients regarding scheduling and any service issues
  • Ensure field data are accurately collected and communicated in a timely manner to the relevant party(ies)
  • Review results/reports for accuracy and ensure timely transmittal to clients and other relevant parties
  • Ensure field-testing equipment is fit for purpose, maintained, and calibrated/verified as recommended by the manufacturer
  • Maintain the inventory of materials and supplies for the field services team needed to perform all field service duties
  • Recommend improvements, as necessary or useful, for company processes and procedures
  • Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner as required by environmental health and safety (EHS) requirements
  • Have good communication skills, both written and oral, as well as being proficient in MS Office tools

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • At least two years of relevant experience, including at least one year in a management role
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work well alone and with others
