Job Summary:

The Warehouse Forklift Operator is a critical role within KeHE Distributors' distribution center, responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and products. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret production schedules, customer orders, work orders, and shipping orders to ensure accurate and timely processing.
  • Operate a forklift to move materials and products within the distribution center, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Store and retrieve materials and products in a manner that maintains a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve distribution center goals and objectives.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge in material handling and logistics.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with colleagues and management.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
