Electronic Assembler

Job Summary:

Spherion is seeking an experienced Electronic Assembler to join our team. As an Electronic Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling and testing electronic components and sub-assemblies. This is a temporary to permanent position and offers a full benefit package, including PTO, health, vision, and dental insurance, life insurance, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and test electronic components and sub-assemblies
  • Make cables and wire tagging
  • Assemble rotors in housing and set endplay
  • Adjust brushes using a fixture
  • Assist in the control of all related documents
  • Assemble brush blocks, slip ring stack-ups, and complete assemblies
  • Solder to a terminal (J-Standard certified required)
  • Splice to HML wire
  • Use of measurement instruments
  • Follow all work instructions, policies, and procedures
  • Recommend changes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Adhere to AS9100 and ISO procedures and ISO compliance

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints
  • Soldering skills required
  • Mechanical aptitude required (knowledge of building or fixing electronic components)
  • Understand Safety, Health, and Environmental regulations
  • Complete all required trainings, including S.H.E (Safety, Health, and Environmental), Ethics, Anti-Slavery and Human Trafficking, Quality, and all performance/product-related trainings

Working Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Skills:

  • Has substantial understanding of job and applies knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of routine and non-routine tasks
  • Works on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations
  • Resolves most questions and problems on own; works under general supervision
  • May assist in orientating and training lower-level employees
