Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Safety Specialist to join our team at Utility Lines Construction Services, LLC. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of our employees and contractors while working on utility transmission and distribution infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and evaluate data from health and safety programs to identify and mitigate hazards in the work environment.
  • Evaluate and oversee existing health and safety management programs to reduce risk and improve compliance.
  • Develop and implement new workplace health and safety programs to address emerging risks and hazards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of health and safety initiatives.
  • Provide technical guidance and oversight to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify and correct hazards.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain safety manuals, procedures, and training programs to ensure employee understanding and compliance.
Requirements
  • OSHA 30 or OSHA 500 certification (less than 5 years old).
  • CPR/First Aid/AED certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Effective problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
Working Conditions

This position requires frequent travel to various job sites within the region and occasional work in extreme weather conditions. The successful candidate must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a variety of environments.
