POSITION STANDARDS
As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in Radiology at Alice Peck Day Health Systems, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of general and specialty ultrasound exams. We are seeking a highly skilled professional with a graduate degree from an accredited program for Diagnostic Medical Sonography and registry eligibility.

Key qualifications include:
Minimum one (1) year of experience performing ultrasound exams
Experience in high-risk OB, advanced abdominal imaging, complex infertility, and guided biopsies
Possesses a broad knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, pathology, and physiological data
Competent in Ultrasound reporting systems
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate required
Licensed by the Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy in the state of New Hampshire

Required certifications include Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) prior to employment and Abdomen (AB) specialty within 1 year of employment. You must also maintain active certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) in specialty areas.

POSITION PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will be required to perform physical activities that may include pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying. A pre-employment physical by Employee Health will be required to determine if you are capable of meeting these requirements.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITY
As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in Radiology, your primary responsibility will be to perform ultrasound examinations, including 3D & 4D imaging with multiple imaging modalities, high-risk gynecological/obstetrical examinations/procedures, infertility, and complex ultrasound guided biopsies.
