Job Title: Nurse Manager for Endoscopy Unit

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to lead our Endoscopy Unit at Odell Medical Search. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the planning, management, and coordination of services to ensure high-quality patient care.

About the Role

The Nurse Manager will oversee the daily operations of the Endoscopy Unit, ensuring that all patients receive exceptional care. This includes coordinating with medical staff, managing staff schedules, and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage the operational and clinical functions of the Endoscopy Unit
  • Review and analyze reports, records, and directives to inform decision-making
  • Monitor equipment repairs and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal unit functioning
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance effectiveness and efficiency
  • Lead, develop, and manage the team to ensure deliverables and performance metrics are met
  • Prepare employee evaluations and manage staffing needs, including scheduling and staffing
  • Maintain proficiency in procedures and ensure staff proficiency
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient accomplishment of department goals and objectives

Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing required; Master's level education preferred
  • 3-5 years of progressive leadership experience required, with 3 years of supervisory or charge nurse experience
  • Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC) required
  • Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire; ACLS (American Heart Association) required within 3 months of hire
