Inova Health System is seeking an exceptional OB/GYN physician to join our team at Inova Women's Hospital within Inova Fairfax Medical Campus. This is a unique opportunity to work as an OB Hospitalist or Obstetric Emergency room physician, with the flexibility to cross-cover each other's shifts as needed.
The ideal candidate will be a seasoned physician with excellent communication and teamwork skills. As an OB Hospitalist, you will work directly with our employed OB/GYN physicians to manage their patients for 12 or 24 hour shifts, with Certified Nurse Midwife supervision on our 33 bed Labor and Delivery Unit.
As an OB Emergency physician, you will work in a 13 bed Triage/OBED, accepting patients at any gestational age and up to six weeks post-partum with obstetric complaints.
Inova Women's Services has one of the largest obstetric programs in the metropolitan Washington, D.C., area, with over 10,000 births at Inova Women's Hospital and a total of over 20,000 across the entire Inova system.
