This part-time position involves training and working in four essential areas of our warehouse: assembly, order picking, order packing, and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Precisely selecting products based on customer batch/order specifications, ensuring items are organized to minimize damage, and attaching necessary paperwork. Packing orders appropriately for shipping, including all required documentation such as labels and bills of lading, to ensure a damage-free delivery.
  • Verifying that outbound shipments are accurate and undamaged, while reporting any quality discrepancies to the supervisor.
  • Preparing products for shipment, ensuring the correct quantity and type are loaded and dispatched. Performing picking tasks efficiently to meet customer service standards.
  • Utilizing a double pallet jack or other equipment to move and stage products and materials. Maintaining the facility's equipment and materials in a clean and orderly manner, conducting daily inspections and minor maintenance on equipment, and operating all machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Keeping accurate records and reports to ensure tight inventory control and security. Assisting with physical inventories and ensuring proper stock rotation.
  • Gaining knowledge of the responsibilities and procedures of other warehouse areas to provide backup support during absences.
  • Charging forklift batteries as necessary, participating in physical inventories, and performing tasks such as labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as needed.
  • Adhering to all operational procedures for double pallet jacks and forklifts, ensuring safe and efficient operation in accordance with safety standards.
  • Maintaining a safe and clean working environment, recognizing the commitment to quality work and customer satisfaction. Assisting in maintaining building security and promoting a safe workplace.
  • Efficiently pulling and packing orders within designated timeframes.
  • Applying Prop 65 warnings to all products as required.
  • Participating in a bonus program, with bonuses contingent upon performance and adherence to company policies.
  • Reporting any accidents or injuries to leadership immediately and completing any required documentation.

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to meet assigned order times and objectives.
  • Experience operating material handling equipment, including pallet jacks.
  • Capability to lift up to 100 lbs. repetitively and to sit, stand, bend, and walk for extended periods.
  • Strong counting skills, basic math abilities, and legible writing.
  • Demonstrated urgency and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment background check.
  • Potential for a pay review and raise after 90 days, along with opportunities for career advancement in a growing company.
