Clinical Pharmacist Job Description

Benecard Services, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct Drug Utilization Reviews to ensure medications are appropriate and safe
  • Provide clinical support to internal and external customers, including literature and study evaluation
  • Attend client and sales presentations to explain clinical value, trends, and industry changes
  • Support programs to identify and measure initiatives designed to achieve outcomes of improved health, reduced cost trend, and improved member experience
  • Clinical program support aimed at increasing early detection of disease and active disease models through clinical data, including medical and pharmacy claims data
  • On-site clinical support for clients and members
  • Provide assistance to other department members with various projects
  • On-call coverage approximately one week a quarter
Requirements:
  • Doctor of Pharmacy/PharmD
  • Strong clinical knowledge
  • Analytical and account management skills
  • Presentation skills, strong writing and communication skills
  • Experience with patient consultations
  • Strong time management skills and ability to multi-task
  • Proficient in PC-based software, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Travel up to 30% of the time required (varies by week)
  • Maintain a valid driver's license
  • Maintain an active pharmacy license in the state of Florida
