Benecard Services, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct Drug Utilization Reviews to ensure medications are appropriate and safe
- Provide clinical support to internal and external customers, including literature and study evaluation
- Attend client and sales presentations to explain clinical value, trends, and industry changes
- Support programs to identify and measure initiatives designed to achieve outcomes of improved health, reduced cost trend, and improved member experience
- Clinical program support aimed at increasing early detection of disease and active disease models through clinical data, including medical and pharmacy claims data
- On-site clinical support for clients and members
- Provide assistance to other department members with various projects
- On-call coverage approximately one week a quarter
- Doctor of Pharmacy/PharmD
- Strong clinical knowledge
- Analytical and account management skills
- Presentation skills, strong writing and communication skills
- Experience with patient consultations
- Strong time management skills and ability to multi-task
- Proficient in PC-based software, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Travel up to 30% of the time required (varies by week)
- Maintain a valid driver's license
- Maintain an active pharmacy license in the state of Florida
