Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Massage Therapist to join our team at Cone Health. As a Massage Therapist, you will work closely with patients to provide therapeutic massages that promote relaxation, relieve stress and pain, and improve overall well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Perform therapeutic massages on clients to improve circulation, reduce muscle tension, and alleviate pain and discomfort.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans for individual patients, taking into account their medical histories, specific stresses, and pains.
  • Discuss patient concerns and medical histories to develop effective massage treatment approaches.
  • Refer patients to other professionals and therapists when necessary to treat additional symptoms.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited massage and bodywork therapy program.
  • 1 year of experience working as a massage therapist in a corporate, multi-purpose, commercial, or hospital facility.
  • Licensure as a Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist; proof of passing one of the following: MBLEx, NCETMB, or NCETM; BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider.
