Job Summary:

The Taxation Manager at Quantix will be responsible for providing a full range of taxation, accounting, and consultation services to our client base. This role will work independently and collaboratively with Tax Seniors and Partners to deliver high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assign, manage, and review tax and accounting engagements to Tax Seniors and Associate Accountants.
  • Coordinate schedules, deadlines, and staffing for firm engagements with Partners as needed.
  • Act as income tax preparer for complex corporate, partnership, trust, and individual income tax returns.
  • Develop and implement taxation and accounting strategies to meet client needs.
  • Manage audit and review engagement teams and projects.
  • Prepare and review compilation and preparation financial statement engagements.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for Associate Accountants and Tax Seniors.
  • Manage client relationships and provide excellent customer service.
  • Meet monthly and annual budget targets.
  • Communicate with Partners to ensure project status, engagement issues, and staff scheduling matters are addressed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • At least 6 years of experience in public accounting or equivalent.
  • CPA or Enrolled Agent designation preferred.
  • Proficient in corporate, partnership, and individual taxation.

Goals for Promotion:

  • Manage own client base generating approximately 1/2 of own work.
  • Comprehend and apply complex accounting and tax concepts.
  • Act as in-charge for complex corporate, partnership, trust, and individual tax engagements.
  • Assign, schedule, manage, and review Associate Accountants and Tax Seniors involved in engagements.
  • Meet annual billable hour budget of at least 1,500.
  • Provide work to Associate Accountants and Tax Seniors.
