About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Refrigeration Specialist to join our team at Brakebush Brothers in Irving, TX. As a key member of our Utilities department, you will be responsible for maintaining and operating our ammonia refrigeration system, ensuring the highest level of safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair ammonia system components, including valve gangs, evaporators, vessels, and compressors
  • Monitor and record temperatures and pressures as required
  • Perform HAZMAT duties as needed
  • Keep compressor rooms and related areas clean and organized
  • Train others on all aspects of Utilities system
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year work-related experience
  • IIAR or RETA certification
  • Ability to lift 50-70 lbs. on a consistent basis
  • Good communication skills (written and oral)
Working Conditions

This role requires frequent bending, lifting, and twisting, as well as working in high noise and varied temperature environments. Personal protective equipment will be provided as necessary.
