Nurse Practitioner Role

Tanner Health System is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality patient care in our medical office setting. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will work closely with our staff, hospital departments, and community agencies to deliver exceptional patient services.
Responsibilities- Perform patient evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with state licensure laws and medical director supervision.
- Collaborate with clinic staff, hospital departments, and community agencies to ensure seamless patient care.
- Work a flexible schedule, including 4 ten-hour shifts per week, with every Thursday off and 1:5 weekend coverage.
- Provide patient care from both Tanner Medical Center Carrollton and Tanner Medical Center Villa Rica, with a primary location in Carrollton.
- Master's Degree in Nursing.
- At least six months of related experience.
- Georgia Nurse Practitioner License and Georgia Registered Nurse License.
- Healthcare Provider (CPR) certification.
- Ability to communicate effectively with medical and hospital staff, as well as various populations in clinics and public screening events.
- ACLS certification recommended.
- Additional certification may be required for certain specialties.
- Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner in Georgia.
- Graduate of a recognized program for Nurse Practitioner training (MSN).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively in a team environment.
