Responsibilities
  • Lead the Echo/Imaging departments in the absence of the manager of operations, ensuring seamless departmental workflow and staff coordination.
  • Perform Echocardiograms, Stress Echo's, and assist in TEE's exams on patients, maintaining high-quality image standards.
  • Coordinate staff, train new staff/students, and update protocols and techniques to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Participate in committees, utilize quality control and quality assurance techniques, and ensure image quality is maintained.
  • Collaborate with the supervisor to ensure all exams are completed, financial requirements are met, and support documentation is processed.
Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree or one year certificate in Cardiac Sonography.
  • Registered by American Diagnostic Registry for Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) as RCS or American Registry for Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Advanced Registry in CT, MR, or IR.
  • Five (5) years of related experience.
