Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and friendly Hotel Greeter to join our team at Loews Hotels & Co, Miami Beach. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our valued customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise restaurant activities in the absence of the Manager, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
  • Control the Reservation Book, accurately accepting and entering reservations into the record.
  • Maintain guest history files, utilizing this information to enhance the repeat guests' experience.
  • Assign work stations and pre-meal side work, inspecting the dining room and service areas to ensure completion of all tasks prior to the start of the meal period.
  • Maintain accurate guest records, including arrival, cover count, seat assignment, turnover, and availability.
  • Inspect menus to ensure cleanliness and acceptability.
  • Provide a warm and professional greeting to guests, determining their needs and verifying table availability.
  • Guide guests to their assigned tables, assist with seating, and present menus.
  • Ensure the removal of unnecessary place settings at occupied tables.
  • Notify servers of guest seating and communicate any special needs or requests.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the dining room appearance, assigning corrections to team members as needed.
  • Monitor dining room activity, assisting servers and assistants as required to ensure performance to standard.
  • Assign post-meal side work, inspecting the dining room and service areas to ensure completion of all tasks.

  • Promote and apply teamwork skills at all times, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Notify management promptly and fully of any problems or unusual matters of significance.
  • Provide exceptional service to guests, management, and fellow team members, maintaining a polite, friendly, and helpful demeanor.
  • Execute emergency procedures in accordance with hotel standards.
  • Comply with required safety regulations and procedures.
  • Attend relevant hotel meetings and training sessions.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and excellent condition of equipment and work areas.
  • Comply with hotel standards, policies, and rules.
  • Recycle whenever possible.
  • Remain current with hotel information and changes.
  • Comply with hotel uniform and grooming standards.
