Job Summary:The NICU Nurse Specialist will be responsible for providing direct patient care to newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. This includes assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to critically ill newborns in the NICU
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives
- Document patient care and progress in accordance with hospital policies and procedures
- Current RN licensure in the state of Washington
- Experience working in a NICU setting

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
