We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Surgeon to join our team at ChristianaCare's Center for Heart & Vascular Health.

The ideal candidate will have excellent surgical skills and experience in treating cardiovascular diseases. They will be responsible for performing complex surgeries, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing coronary artery bypass, aortic and mitral valve repair and replacement, TAVR, TEVAR, lead extraction, Mitraclip, ECMO, VAD, complex aortic procedures, and robotic coronary procedures
  • Collaborating with cardiologists and vascular surgeons to provide comprehensive care to patients
  • Participating in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest cardiovascular treatments and technologies
  • Contributing to the development of departmental policies and procedures
