About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at DispatchHealth Management. As a key member of our clinical care team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in the comfort of patients' homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with our DispatchHealth Medical Technicians (DHMTs) to provide comprehensive health assessments and diagnose and treat complex illnesses.
  • Perform therapeutic interventions, such as splinting, suturing, wound care, and minor procedures, as needed.
  • Use critical thinking skills and evidence-based standards of practice to ensure accurate and effective care.
  • Accurately document patient encounters and maintain accurate records.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Identify and proactively solve problems to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Minimum of two years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in acute care settings, such as Emergency Departments, Urgent Care, or Internal Medicine.
  • Graduate degree from an accredited institution.
  • Current, unrestricted state license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
  • Nationally board certified.
  • Current BLS certification, with ACLS certification preferred.
  • Prescriptive authority and DEA registration.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, holidays, and weekends.
