HSE Specialist

Job Summary:

In this role, you will support and facilitate the health, safety, and environmental (HSE) programs in the Scottsdale Development Center's R&D and Quality laboratories, support corporate HSE initiatives, and support global laboratory HSE initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver laboratory training content
• Write procedures and programs
• Submit compliance report data
• Interface with regulatory agencies as needed
• Conduct equipment and process risk assessments

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Chemistry, Industrial Hygiene, Biology, or a related physical science
• Minimum 3 years of experience in health and safety or science-related field

Preferred Qualifications:

• Capable of using Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and other software applications
• Able to work independently and prioritize duties and tasks
• Able to effectively communicate, influence, and negotiate with stakeholders to achieve safety criteria and KPI's

Travel Requirements:

Occasional travel to global laboratories and facilities.

Competencies/Authorities:

Non-US only where required for certain levels.
