General Shale is seeking a skilled Production Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our production facility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing departmental operations, ensuring compliance with production and quality goals, and maintaining a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Motivating and Directing Employees: Lead and motivate employees to achieve production and quality goals, while ensuring compliance with safety policies and company rules.
- Maintenance and Equipment Management: Coordinate maintenance repair work and ensure equipment is properly maintained to optimize production efficiency.
- Process Improvement: Utilize problem-solving and critical thinking techniques to identify and resolve process and safety issues.
- Production Scheduling: Organize production schedules to maximize equipment utilization and personnel efficiency.
- Inventory Management: Ensure accurate production inventory, conduct periodic physical counts, and address any discrepancies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills, computer literacy, and mechanical aptitude.
- Technical Expertise: Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and robotics is a plus.
- Leadership Potential: Demonstrate the desire and ability to grow within General Shale.
- Education and Experience: Higher education or previous career experience in a related field.
