Position Overview:

The Corporate Strategy division operates within the Growth Organization at BBU.

Our mission is to innovate and transform the bakery and snack sectors through novel market strategies, exploring new distribution channels, and leveraging cutting-edge technology.

The Corporate Strategy team collaborates with various departments within BBU to tackle cross-functional challenges, positioning ourselves as thought leaders in the industry.

MBA Summer Associate in Corporate Strategy will engage in addressing a clearly defined strategic business challenge or opportunity within new market segments, existing product lines, or functional areas such as sales, supply chain, and operations. Previous projects have included market analysis, asset strategy formulation, and product portfolio optimization. Summer Associates will gain insights into company operations through various activities, including visits to production facilities and interactions with senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

The program offers the following opportunities:

Project Leadership: Manage assigned projects from initiation to the development of recommendations presented to Senior Leadership.

Data Analysis / Insight Generation: Conduct comprehensive analyses (e.g., consumer segmentation, market sizing, competitive landscape) and scenario modeling to uncover insights and opportunities for BBU utilizing both internal and external data sources.

Cross-Departmental Collaboration:
Work collaboratively across various functions within BBU, including marketing, innovation, consumer insights, category management, R&D, and supply chain to ensure alignment of strategic recommendations.

Actionable Insights: Deliver relevant insights, recommendations, and project outcomes that are integral to the business, presented in the form of PowerPoint presentations and Excel financial models.

Qualifications:

First-year MBA student

Must be available for a full-time position for a 12-week duration

3+ years of professional experience

Preferred experience in management consulting, strategic planning, finance, operations, supply chain, market research, or project management

Experience with consumer-packaged goods and/or large retailers is advantageous

$2,000 per week with a sign-on bonus
