About the Job

Our Construction Laborer will play a critical role in the success of our multi-site construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction labor, with experience working on residential building projects.

The successful applicant will be responsible for performing a range of tasks, including laying out and installing materials, conducting repairs and maintenance, and ensuring the site is safe and secure.

The job requires excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.

A valid driver's license and a willingness to travel to remote job sites are essential. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about construction, we would love to hear from you

Responsibilities

- Operate a variety of hand and power tools
- Inspect places and conduct general repairs or maintenance
- Clean and prepare construction sites as needed
- Remove and properly dispose of debris and waste materials
- Digging trenches along with other site requirements
- Move materials and equipment to and from construction areas
- Follow all safety procedures on the job site, including all PPE requirements, and report violations immediately to management
- Maintain a safe and clean job site by handling materials and storing them properly, picking up and removing all tools and equipment when not in use, and securing the job site on a daily basis
- Load and unload construction supplies from trucks both manually and with the use of equipment
- Report incidents immediately to safety, foreman, or project manager in accordance with incident reporting procedures established by the company
- Travel out of town to work on remote job sites as directed by management
- Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to fully grasp requirements
- Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed
- Replace plumbing fixtures and light fixtures
- Other duties as needed.

Qualifications

- High school diploma
- Proven experience as construction laborer
- Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.)
- Willingness to always follow safety guidelines
- Strong understanding of basic math
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, climb, squat, reach, and kneel
