Job Title: Per Diem Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Per Diem Nurse to join our team at MultiCare Health System. As a Per Diem Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Job Summary:

The Per Diem Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care, applying current health concepts, and performing routine duties to the level of academic competence accomplished in the individual's educational program(s) under the supervision and direction of a Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, applying current health concepts and performing routine duties to the level of academic competence accomplished in the individual's educational program(s)
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
  • Remain abreast of current trends/information in nursing and apply this knowledge/information to practice
  • Attend required unit meetings/classes
  • Apply knowledge, judgment, and skills based upon the principles of biological, physiological, behavioral, and sociological sciences
Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled as a student in an accredited school preparing persons to practice as a Registered Nurse and completed at least one academic term which included a clinical component /OR Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current Nursing Technician Registered credential
  • Documentation of current clinical competencies from completed Nursing School course work
  • Current BLS certification
