Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and admit patients, conducting thorough evaluations to identify their medical needs.
  • Round regularly to check on patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing emotional support and education.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Unit Overview

The Medical Surgical - GI Unit, 2 West is a 25-bed unit that cares for patients with a variety of medical conditions, including stroke, kidney failure, diabetes, and gastrointestinal surgical needs. Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a current RN license and a strong foundation in medical-surgical nursing. Previous experience in a similar setting is preferred, but not required.
