As an Electrical Technician with PeopleReady Skilled Trades, you will collaborate with electrical contractors across various commercial projects. This full-time position offers competitive weekly compensation, health insurance benefits, and a flexible schedule.
Compensation: The hourly pay for this role ranges from $19 to $28.
Key Responsibilities:- Install and maintain electrical systems and components.
- Set up different types of raceway and cable tray systems.
- Diagnose and repair motor and control systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems.
- Examine blueprints and building code specifications to establish work details and procedures.
- Measure, cut, and shape wire and conduit using appropriate tools.
- Perform both skilled and unskilled labor related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of various electrical systems and equipment.
- Adhere to state and local building regulations, including the National Electrical Code and all safety standards.
- A minimum of 2 years of verified experience as an Electrician.
- Strong knowledge of electrical processes and codes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and diagrams.
- Proficient in bending and running conduit.
- Capability to stand, bend, kneel, and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Experience in the commercial sector is preferred.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and conduit benders.
