We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Nurse to join our team in Boston, Massachusetts. This is a 13-week assignment in the ICU department of one of our top healthcare clients.
About the JobThis role involves providing high-quality patient care and education to patients and their families. The ideal candidate will have at least 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care ICU setting and hold active RN licensure, BLS & ACLS certification, and a degree from an accredited nursing program.
Responsibilities- Manage the care of adult patients experiencing life-threatening problems requiring complex assessment, high-intensity therapies, and interventions.
- Provide patient care as well as education and support to the patient's family.
- Ensure proper functioning of life support equipment such as ventilators and feeding tubes.
- Observe the patient's heart rate, blood pressure, and respiration for signs of distress.
- Administer medication, IVs, and insert catheters as needed.
- Meticulous documentation of medication administration.
- Assist in emergency nursing procedures necessary for prompt control of changes in patient's physical condition.
The salary range for this position is approximately $1200 - $1800 per week, depending on qualifications and experience. Benefits include weekly pay, direct deposit, full coverage of credentialing fees, private housing or housing allowance, group health insurance for you and your family, tax-free stipends, travel reimbursement, company-paid life and disability insurance, access to nationwide travel assignments, 401(k) matching, and unlimited referral bonuses starting at $500.
