Job Summary

CrossMed Allied is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team as a travel healthcare professional. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia, and asthma.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests, including spirometry and arterial blood gas analysis.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest respiratory care techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • At least 1-2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Graduate from an accredited respiratory therapy program.
  • Certifications may be required based on facility requirements.
  • Physical abilities to remain in a stationary position, move and lift equipment, pushing, bending, and pulling.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
