About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Nurse to join our team at Thrive Skilled Pediatric Care LLC. As a Pediatric Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality clinical home care to medically fragile children, enabling them to grow and flourish to their full potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one care to pediatric patients in their homes, ensuring their physical, emotional, and developmental needs are met.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the patient's healthcare team.
  • Administer medications, perform medical procedures, and provide wound care as needed.
  • Monitor patient progress, report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team, and make adjustments to care plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with families and caregivers to educate them on patient care, medication management, and disease management.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices and advancements in pediatric care.

Requirements:

  • Current, valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in the state of employment.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, with frequent standing, walking, and bending.
