Job Title: Licensed Veterinary Technician

VCA Findlay Animal Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, assisting with medical procedures, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients and staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, including surgeries and exams
  • Administer medications and vaccinations as prescribed by veterinarians
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to veterinarians
  • Perform laboratory tests, such as blood work and urinalyses
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment
  • Assist with anesthesia and pain management
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication with clients
Requirements:
  • Current RVT/LVT license
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
