Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Superintendent to oversee and manage wood-framing construction activities across multiple projects for Influx Building Technologies, a leading provider of offsite manufacturing and field assembly of wood-framed commercial structures.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Oversight:
Provide leadership and direction to project superintendents and foremen on various construction projects, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.

Collaborate with project managers to define project goals, timelines, and resource requirements, promoting a culture of excellence and efficiency.

Team Management:
Supervise and mentor project superintendents, foremen, and other construction staff, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment that drives results.

Conduct performance evaluations and provide guidance for professional development, ensuring the team is equipped to meet the demands of complex construction projects.

Quality Assurance:
Ensure that construction work meets or exceeds industry standards, building codes, and project specifications, implementing and overseeing quality control processes, conducting regular inspections to guarantee exceptional quality.

Resource Management:
Optimize the allocation of resources, including labor, equipment, and materials, working closely with procurement to ensure timely availability of construction materials, minimizing delays and costs.

Safety Compliance:
Enforce and promote a strong safety culture on all job sites, implementing safety protocols and conducting regular safety meetings to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.

Communication:
Communicate effectively with project managers, superintendents, and other stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, addressing any challenges or deviations from plans, and ensuring seamless collaboration across teams.

Qualifications:
Proven experience as a general superintendent or a similar high-level construction management role, with comprehensive knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and best practices, strong leadership and organizational skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications, familiarity with safety regulations and practices, and relevant certifications in construction management, project management, or related areas.

Education and Certifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, and relevant certifications in construction management, project management, or related areas.

Experience:
Minimum of 8 years of experience in high-level construction management roles, with previous experience overseeing multiple projects simultaneously, and ability to visit and inspect job sites, including climbing ladders and navigating construction environments.
