Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Therapeutic Radiation Technologist to join our team at UVA Health Northern VA & Culpeper. As a Therapeutic Radiation Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that patients receive accurate and effective treatments using ionizing radiation.

Your primary responsibilities will include applying ionizing radiation to patients according to prescriptions and instructions from Radiation Oncologists, providing care and treatment to assigned patients, and reviewing policies/procedures to ensure compliance with state, federal, and accrediting body rules, regulations, and standards.

We offer a competitive salary of $72,000 - $82,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a stable income, our benefits package includes health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

About the Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Technology Program (BS, Associate, or hospital-based program) required.
  • 1 year of experience preferred.
  • ARRT in Radiation Oncology required. VA state license required at free standing centers.


About the Workplace:
  • Moderate to heavy physical demands, including standing and walking constantly, frequent bending/stooping, and repetitive body movements.
  • Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs, with use of Safe Handling Equipment for weights over 35 lbs.
