About the Role

At IMG Academy, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC Systems Manager to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our HVAC systems across our 400+ acre campus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of HVAC technicians to ensure efficient and effective maintenance and repair of HVAC systems
  • Supervise, train, and evaluate HVAC technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
  • Oversee the installation of new HVAC systems and components, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure HVAC systems meet regulatory requirements
  • Diagnose and repair complex HVAC issues, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to our operations
  • Monitor and manage department budgets, expenses, and resources to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Implement quality control measures to maintain high service standards
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
  • Assist in monitoring work performed by outside contractors and vendors
  • Provide 24-hour emergency maintenance service as scheduled
Requirements
  • EPA 608 Certification
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in HVAC systems preferred
  • Minimum of 2+ years of HVAC experience
  • Experience in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC systems
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certifications
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish)
Work Environment

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with prolonged periods of standing, bending, and kneeling. The ability to work in confined spaces and heights is also required. The use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory.

This role is considered essential and may be required to work during weather emergencies or business closures in order to meet operational requirements.
