Job Description:
We pride ourselves on providing exceptional service, leadership, and legacy in our private country club setting. As an F&B Operations Manager, you will be responsible for supervising, training, and monitoring the performance of assigned staff to ensure that all procedures are completed to department and location standards.
Essential Functions:
- Interact with guests to promote our food & beverage facilities, products, and services.
- Maintain effective guest relations by ensuring a pleasant visit for each guest.
- Recognize and resolve guest complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate with the Executive Chef to ensure seamless execution of food and beverage services.
- Maintain high food quality and service standards at all times.
- Manage accurate inventory and maintain appropriate supply levels.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of food & beverage work areas and facilities.
- Supervise event setup and breakdown procedures to contribute to overall cleanliness and organization of the facility and event location.
- Maintain complete knowledge of service requirements for assigned functions and communicate expectations to banquet staff.
- Provide direct service to guests as needed, including serving tables, bussing tables, seating guests, and general clerical/cashier duties.
- Supervise banquet staff to ensure quality service is provided to guests.
- Support all activities within the club to ensure an exceptional member experience.
- Oversee F&B outlets during service hours.
- Control food & beverage costs, including payroll, equipment, supplies, and products.
Requirements and Qualifications:
To perform this role successfully, you must possess:
- 1-2 years of banquet and/or F&B supervisory experience.
- Excellent people and communication skills.
- Proven experience supervising banquet staff in an event setting and demonstrated outstanding customer service.
- A willingness to learn and perform restaurant & bar services.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, drive, and motivation.
- Flexibility with schedule, including evenings and weekend work.
