Job SummaryWe are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In-Home Caregiver to join our team. As a Caregiver, you will provide one-on-one care to adults in their homes, helping them to succeed in their daily lives and participate fully in community activities.
Responsibilities- Transportation and Community Support: Assist individuals with transportation to medical appointments, outings, and shopping, promoting their independence and community participation.
- Daily Living Skills: Assist with meal preparation, medication administration, and daily living tasks, such as personal hygiene and grooming.
- Developmental Goals: Provide guidance and support to individuals in achieving their developmental goals, including community participation, household budgeting, exercise, nutrition, and vocational responsibilities.
- Behavioral Support: Assist individuals in redirecting agitated or aggressive behaviors, promoting a safe and supportive environment.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Age: Minimum of 18 years of age
- Experience: Six months of experience in human services preferred
- License: Valid driver's license in good standing
- Vehicle: Access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
- Clearance: Successful clearance of background checks
- Attitude: Reliable, responsible, and compassionate approach
- Full, Part-time, and As Needed Schedules: Flexible scheduling to meet your needs
- Compensation and Benefits: Full compensation and benefits package for employees working 30+ hours/week
