Job Overview

Eldante HVAC Services LLC is seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing heating and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial establishments.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Installation and Repair: Install, service, or repair heating and air conditioning systems to improve efficiency, including changing filters, cleaning ducts, and refilling non-toxic refrigerants.
  • Customer Service: Establish strong customer relationships to ensure the highest levels of satisfaction.
  • Diagnostic and Troubleshooting: Test pipe or tubing joints or connections for leaks, using a pressure gauge or soap-and-water solution, and test electrical circuits or components for continuity, using electrical test equipment.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring, and perform routine preventative maintenance.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to emergency maintenance requests and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
  • Installation and Fabrication: Install copper refrigerant lines to air conditioning units, including brazing and soldering, and fabricate ductwork and fittings.
  • System Cleaning and Sanitizing: Clean and sanitize HVAC systems, including duct cleaning and attic insulation.
Requirements
  • Experience and Education: Past experience as an HVAC service technician or comparable education.
  • Valid Drivers License: Possess a valid driver's license.
  • EPA Certification: Hold an EPA certification.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with operation and maintenance of chillers, heat pumps, air handlers, and geothermal systems.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to climb ladders, crawl, and lift 40 pounds.
