Pottawattamie County Conservation is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Snow Sports School Coordinator to join our team. This part-time, seasonal position will run from approximately October through March and is responsible for overseeing the snow sports school operations, including hiring, training, and scheduling instructors, as well as creating marketing strategies and materials for lessons.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in hiring and training ski and snowboard instructors
  • Coordinate and schedule training for instructors
  • Develop lesson plans and marketing materials
  • Oversee booking and scheduling process for lessons
  • Coordinate the Development Program
  • Track snow sports school supplies
  • Assist Site Manager with administrative tasks and area marketing

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years prior experience as a ski or snowboard instructor
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work well under pressure
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
