Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse I to join our team at LaSalle Corrections. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall well-being of our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' physical, psychological, and social dimensions to develop effective treatment plans.
  • Provide written assessments and summaries of patient data to inform treatment decisions.
  • Implement individual treatment programs and interventions to promote patient recovery and well-being.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
  • Document patient encounters and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in quality assurance initiatives to promote excellence in patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification required.
  • Good physical and mental health; able to work under pressure and relate well to patients, security staff, visitors, and co-workers.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum of two (2) years clinical experience.

Frequent grasping, reaching, pushing, pulling, bending, and twisting.

Compensation

$38.00 per hour.

Shift Differentials: $4.00 Per Hour 6am to 6pm, $8.00 Per Hour 6pm to 6am.
