We are seeking a skilled Massage Therapist to join our team at UCHealth Yampa Valley Medical Center Main Hosp. As a Massage Therapist, you will administer therapeutic massage and bodywork modalities to patients, including deep tissue, Swedish, trigger point, stretching, pregnancy and postpartum massage, acupressure, reflexology, and hydro-therapy.
Key Responsibilities- Interview patients to determine medical history, condition, desired results, and appropriate modality.
- Apply selected modality, concentrating on areas of particular discomfort, and monitor patient responses to treatment.
- Properly document patient information, interview responses, treatments, feedback, and results.
- Maintain therapy area in a clean, safe, sterile, and organized state, and order supplies as necessary.
- Graduate of an accredited Massage Therapy program.
- State of Colorado Licensed Massage Therapist.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.
- 2 years of experience.
