Legal Secretary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Secretary to join our team at Outside Chief Legal LLC. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will provide critical support to our attorneys and paralegals, ensuring the smooth operation of our law firm.

• Provide administrative support to attorneys and paralegals, including scheduling meetings, coordinating travel arrangements, and managing deadlines.
• Draft and proofread legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts.
• Conduct legal research and provide support to attorneys and paralegals as needed.
• Manage case and business files, ensuring that all necessary documents are up-to-date and easily accessible.
• Coordinate office communications, including answering phones, sorting mail, and responding to emails.
• Prepare and send legal documents and correspondence to clients, courts, and other parties.
• Assist with preparing client bills and managing the firm's financial operations.
• Perform other administrative tasks as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the law firm.

• Associate's degree or some college; high school diploma or equivalent GED required.
• Prior experience in a law firm environment as a legal assistant.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs and popular apps (Google Calendar, Outlook, etc.) is essential.
• Ability to use law management software to process legal documents, conduct research, and manage the law firm's administrative operations.
• High-level organizational skills and time-management skills are essential.
• Minimum 2 years of law firm experience required.
