About the Role

Concentra is seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist - Medical Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our patient care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the examination.
  • Operate radiologic equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Use radiation safety measures and protection devices to ensure the safety of patients and team members.
  • Ensure radiologic equipment remains in good working order, reporting any malfunctions to the Center Operations Director.
  • Follow established radiologic workflows and ensure accurate documentation of patient x-ray visits.
  • Perform medical assistant duties, including preparing patients for physical examinations, taking vital signs, and performing routine medical procedures.
  • Assist providers during examinations and treatments, ensuring a seamless patient experience.
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate records, including patient information and medical history.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology and applicable certification by the state in which employed.
  • Registered with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and has active and valid certification.
  • CPR/First Aid Certification.
  • At least six months or more of medical assistant experience with knowledge of medical procedures and medical terminology.
